Hello, I want to ask if the problem in auto-focusing text entry box when slide starts is fixed? Or the problem is fixed in the new update of articulate storyline 2? I am using Articulate Storyline 2 and i want to auto focus the text entry box when the slide starts. Thank you. :)
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is: Fixed: We fixed a few issues with data-entry fields. Learners had to click a data-entry field before they could type a response. In some cases, they couldn't select the default text before typing a response. Text didn't always scroll when it was longer than the data-entry field.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
Hello, i am still having this issue as mentioned above, even when i have tried Janet's JavaScript approach. Has this been resolved on StoryLine3? As i am about to upgrade to this software.
Hi Katie - I am new to Storyline. I clicked About Storyline and see that I have v3. However, I cannot tell if I have Update 10 or higher. Where can I check to know which Update I have in my software?

Update 10 for Storyline 3 is live: We fixed the issue where the player Next button would keep the focus on the player for the next slide.

Which version of Storyline 3 are you using? To locate the update, click the Help tab and then About Storyline.
Update 10 holds a fix for the issues outlined below. If it's an earlier version, here's how to update to the latest one.
If you see any of these bugs on Update 10 or higher, please let us know!
