Hi - my interaction needs a few text entry boxes. But if the text is more than one line, it won't return or scroll - just one long line and can't see all the text.
I have found the magic number is to have the text entry boxes to be 63px high. But at that size, I can't fix all my text entry boxes on the slide.
They won't create a scroll by default, but you can add in a scrolling panel, and then just ensure your text entry box is still larger than the panel. There is a good example in this thread.
Here is a sample SL2 file with a text entry inside a scrolling panel. You'll see that as the user types they're answers go to the next line using the enter key, and although the panel doesn't automatically scroll you can scroll to see what was entered using the scrolling panel.
If I'm misunderstanding what you'd like to do or your set up, please let us know.
Also, there is no requirement that locks it at 63 px high, so I'm not understanding that part of your problem?

nope, still doesn't scroll. scrolling panel has no effect.
I just don't understand why text entry boxes have to be 63px high.
