Text Entry Reset

I have researched this issue and found a little help but not much.
I have a simulation where I screen recorded myself using a software. In the course learners have to go back and replicate what I did and if they get a certain amount of slides wrong they have to review and retry. At first I had an issue with the text entry AND hotspot slides not resetting. So a forum on this site helped me to figure it out and it reset while I was previewing.
However when published to Articulate 360 or scorm cloud, the variables do not rest.
I have checked and every slide is set to: "Reset to inital state"
And I added the trigger to set the text entry back to a blank state.
Everything works in the preview but not published state.

I think I figured it out. If I'm not mistaken, even all the layers (correct response layer and incorrect response layer) have to be reset to their initial state as well???
Still looking for feedback though. I still have a scene that is not resetting on restart.

Do you have a results slide after the test mode slides? If so, does the results slide have a "Retry" button with a "reset results" trigger attached to it?
This trigger should be all you need to reset the test mode slides. If they're still not resetting correctly even with that trigger, share your file with us here. We'll take a closer look at it for you!
