Text highlighting when mouse over
Mar 14, 2019
This file was created in English and sent out for translation.
When it was returned in Russian, it mysteriously now shows a lavender fill behind the text when the mouse passes over it.
There are no additional states, nor are there any 'hover' commands.
The behavior is not totally consistent with some text not showing this behavior.
Can anyone give me insight as to how this could happen and more importantly, how it can be fixed?
Thank you, Chuck

Hi Chuck!
I highlighted the text and pressed the "Remove all formatting button". That did the trick.
You would have to manually reset your text formatting. I didn't have your font, so maybe there's an issue with that.

Thanks Michael, but I can’t find the ‘remove all formatting’ button you describe. Can you tell me where it is? I’m working in the latest Storyline 360
Sorry Michael, I just saw your png above. I had been reading your message in my email and the text didn't show.
Well its well hidden deep within the vaults of storyline. No seriously. It's at the top of the screen a bit to the left of the center. If you click a text field and try to edit, it's right above the spell check function (abc).
Thanks Michael.
I asked my client to re-download the file from their Team Share and it seems like the file was corrupted somewhere between my client and their regional market.
