Text in image seems to be embedded, but NOT...

Jan 29, 2021

Hello everyone! Thanks for your help

I'm having trouble changing a text. The text appears over an image. When I make double clic to enter inside and change the text, it seems like the text is part of the image. So I thought to export the image, change the text in Photoshop and import again the image. However when I export the image, it only exports the image alone, without the text. How is this possible?  What's happening? Do you know what's going on here?

This occurs in slides:
1.1 (the image of the man on the right)
1.2 (the image of the woman on the left)

Please, find attached the file.

Hi Salo!

Thank you so much for sharing the .story file! I noticed the same. It looks like the normal state for both images has multiple objects. For example, the first image in the normal state has the image, rectangle, text, and background shape. Instead of choosing to export the image, I'd recommend selecting all of the objects in the Normal state and choose to Export as Shape.

I've created a short demo for you. Here's the link.

I'm also attaching the images in case you want to see what they look like when choosing Export as Shape.
