I have a very strange error. Whenever I insert hyphens or dashes into the notes section, the word that comes immediately after the hyphen or dash does not appear in the notes tab when I preview it or publish it. I have attached screen shots to illustrate this. The attached is only one example of what is happening on several slides.
Geert I appreciate your suggestion, but that has not fixed it. If I add a second dash, then I have two dashes and still a missing word. I tried adding a space, and oddly enough, it did not omit the space, but then it was not grammatically correct. There should be no spaces around these dashes.
Thanks for uploading your projectfiles and for allowing us to review them! We were able to duplicate the issueyou reported. It not specific to Tahoma. Try setting the em dash to Arial andthe regular text to Tahoma. As long as the special character's font isdifferent from the regular text, it'll display properly. Unfortunately, we wereunable to determine a workaround. We have reported this issue to our QualityAssurance team for their review. I cannot offer a time frame for when or ifthis issue will be addressed. For the time being please try to use thisworkaround until such time we are able to find a permanent solution.

Hi alicia,
have you tried double dashing a dash or escaping a dash
War 14-18
War 14--18 or War 14 &- 18
Cheers

Hi Alicia!
I am unable to re-create this issue. What font are you utilizing?
Hi Alicia,
I can't recreate the behavior with a missing word on my Storyline files. What update of Storyline are you using? We're currently on update 6.
You'll also want to follow the method here to insert en dash and em dashes into your course.
Thank you, both. I was helped with this issue.
