I made an articulate session this morning which has one introductory slide and a video. The text on the slide was normal when I was publishing the session, but when I uploaded it and opened it on our Lingo platform, it had completely changed. (Screenshot attached)
Has anyone experienced this? Any advice on how to fix this?
Thanks for sharing that image here. I'm not familiar with Lingos, but it looks like standard text on the slide - not a part of a variable or text entry? Have you looked to confirm it's being viewed with one of the supported browsers here? Also, perhaps you could look at testing it in another environment such as Tempshare.articulate.com?
I uploaded to our LMS and the font has changed completely. I did upload to Tempshare- works fine so it’s not a problem with the file but its compatibility with the LMS.
Thanks Heather for that update and sorry to hear that the issue still exists within your LMS. Please feel free to keep us posted on what they share with you here in case it'll help another user who runs across a similar issue.
I'm having this issue too- I'm sure its a setting to do with the file and not the LMS. Issues with the font changing has come up before in another discussion thread- any update since this 2 years ago? :-) thanks
That's within a text entry and the variable reference, and those fonts are not embedded as a part of the published output so Storyline will rely on the system or browser defaults. Within Heather's example it didn't seem to be text entry fonts, but fonts on the slide itself within a standard text box, and those fonts are embedded as a part of the publish process.
Are you seeing the issue with text entry/variable fonts or standard text on the slide? You could also look at testing it within another web server or LMS, such as SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS Testing. This article will walk you through how to test your content there.
