I'm building a course in Storyline in French and English. In the previous Presenter version, I was able to select the language based labels at the quiz level. I don't see that option in Storyline. Is it possible to associate a label set with a layer or with a group of slides in Storyline?
Gerry ... thanx for sending that demo along. I watched that one prior to writng to you. That setting as i understand it applies to the entire project ... is that correct? My learners will select their language at the beginning and then view a set of slides aind then take quizzes in one or the other language. I realize that I have the option of using layers for that purpose. In either case, how do I associate the labels language setting to the material in each of the languages? Does that clarify my question?
Well, if it was done for a LMS, one could create separate versions for each language and have a launch menu to start them.
Since it is for a LMS, you could do the same and have separate language versions in the LMS. Or have one course that branches off into the different language versions.
If I did that, I might create my own buttons for everything (so they could be in the chosen language) and, if possible, not have anything in a language on the player interface if possible.
in other words .... what i was able to do in Studio (set the player including the text labels for a particular test at the quiz level) I cannot do in Storyline.

Yup! Are you using a LMS for this?
the course will be delivered using an LMS. The previous presenter version was as well.
There are several quizzes which are scored but do not indicate course completion.
There is one "quiz" which is used to indicate certification and completion.
What's that got to do with my question?
