Does anyone know how I can create a text field for users to enter their names. I want their name to appear on another slide. Example. My name is _______ Next slide will say. Hello ________
On the insert tab there is a Data Entry option on the far right just to the left of Preview.
when you insert a Data Entry box it will create a variable for you for that box. I normally go into the variable list and rename it to something I will recognize later.

Thanks. I still am unclear how i setup the trigger so the text entered appears on another slide.
I put some notes on how to do it inside the story file. You want to use the reference inside a text box (or any object really). I hope this helps.
