Hi Agnieszka,

you'll have the possibility to extend/transform your text entry field.

If you change the height you can give the user the possibility to insert the content in multiple lines.

But be careful: even if you see something that is looking like a new paragraph - it's not. It's still one entry.

Best regards

Ralf

Hi Ralf,

It's not what I meant. Users don't enter text (its not for textEntry) but has a choise of answers that have set variable. Depend on their chosen answer they have a feedback at the end of the course. I know I can use layers for each answer but just wonder if I could add my answer by typing in when setting variable (using value in Text Variable). When I try I can give only short feedback (like correct or incorrect) because if I type longer text it  squizes to one line....  Is there a way to change it ?

Hi Tran,

I'm not sure I'm clear on what you're looking to do? The variable will display whatever text the user has entered or that you have set up a trigger to display. You could display more than one line and you'll just want to make sure that the text box is set up to accommodate the length of text you'd like to display otherwise it'll wrap or cause the text to shrink and look different than expected.

For more information on working with variables please review the information here.

Hello

I'm having an issue whereby I need to enter a fairly long sentence into a text box instructing the user that they need to click that box and then type in their name. The issue is that the copy either is cut-off, or no longer centered when I preview. I pulled the box a big 'taller' to be able to fit all the copy in over two lines, but when I preview, the copy is then no longer entered. I can't figure out what setting is messing me around. Can anybody help?
