Text Variables

Hello,
I have created a text variable to show the person's name throughout the course. I also have created many text to speech slides. I tried inserting the reference of the text variable into the text to speech box, but it does not read the person's name out loud. Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to include a text reference from a variable into text to speech? It sounds weird, when the screen includes the person name in the text, but the voice reading it, doesn't include the name. Any suggestions?

Hello Elke,
While the Text-to-Speech feature doesn't currently read the variable reference, I think that's a fantastic idea! I'll be sure to pass that along to my team on your behalf.
