One of the best tools in SL2 is that you can move the timeline or states into its own window. This is great for editing. HOWEVER, if you lose the top of the window to minimize or move off your screen it's lost.
How do I put the view back to its original state? All timeline windows, state windows etc.

go to View > redock all windows

Looks like Walt beat me to it! Common question :)
To redock all panels at the same time, go to the View tab on the Storyline ribbon and click Redock All Windows.
