The project "Storyline" is locked by another process

Good Afternoon fellow Heroes!
Have any of you any experience regarding the above message( see screen capture below) when trying to select any of your storyline projects - what does it mean? what can be done to rectify? what can be done to stop this from happening again?

Have you tried saving a copy with a different name?
Yep - then I select it and the same message appears
