Oh no, Kinga! So sorry you've come across a new oddity. 

Happy to help! A few questions:

  • Could you share more detail on the quiz behavior while previewing the entire course?
  • Do you notice the same behavior after the file is published?
  • Mind sharing the .story file with me here so I can take a close look? I'll try to replicate the experience and let you know what I find!

Hi Katie,

Thanks so much for a prompt response.

All works when I publish it but I do not want to do it. What I really need is a working storyline. When I open the quiz, I cannot hit any buttons in order to submit a correct answer. This is only happening when I preview the full story. All works for single slide preview.

Pls advise.

Good morning, Kinga, and let's get those roadblocks out of the way!

First, can I confirm that you're working on a local hard drive (typically the C: drive) at your office? Working on a network drive or an external USB drive can cause erratic behavior similar to what you're experiencing, so I'd like to rule that out as the culprit. 

Another thought is that there could be security restrictions set up on the company network. Have you had a chance to share this behavior with your IT team to see what they might suggest?

Dear Katie,

Thanks so much for your response. I woud like to confirm that I have been working on the C drive. The IT has also confirmed that there are no security restrictions and the file should work without any problems. I asked them to check the file too.

I have played the file several times now and have to say that its behavior is really strange as it sometimes plays the content with no issues and other times, nothing really works as it should.

Please advise.
