The text within a shape dissappears when the slide is revisted

I'm afraid I'm not seeing the same thing you showed in your screenshots. If I revisit the slide from the last "Ian" slide, it starts from the beginning of the timeline for that slide ("Hi!" plays, etc.), then the text and check boxes are displayed. 

Can you tell me what steps you're taking when this disappears for you, please? Also, how are you viewing the course when this happens? Is this happening when you preview, after you've published, after you've published and uploaded the course to a server, etc.?

This occurs when I go to the next slide then come back. It happens when previewing and when uploaded to SCORM cloud.

Well, I don't know what I missed the first time, but after trying again I see exactly what you're saying.

Mike Taylor also helped out and he noticed that there was a variable being called into the text that's displaying on the slide. The variable is "%Name%". 

We cannot see an input field for this variable, so we're wondering if maybe this was a part of a larger course initially and removing that "link" broke the variable text. Right now, it looks like removing that "%Name%" text fixes the issue. 

Can you try that out and see if it works for you as well, please?

It works!  Thank you and thanks to Mike as well.  The variable was not pivotal to my course but is this pointing out that variables and revisits don't work?

I'm not sure what caused it to break - possibly because it was sitting in the textbox with no actual reference or input "point". I haven't tested it yet, but I believe it should work properly, as long as that variable is calling something into the text box.
