This may be a silly question..difference between zoom animation and grow animation?

Mar 03, 2015

I've tested both animations out and they seem to do the same thing for me. With both animations, the object starts small and goes to normal size but neither animation actually enlarges the object past normal size. Am I missing something?

My goal is to enlarge the object but not use the zoom-in feature as this hides surrounding objects.

It seems I finally figured this one out myself. Neither animation actually "grows" the object beyond normal size. The difference is that Zoom animation only grows from the middle of the object outward, where as Grow animation allows you to select from which of the object's sides it will grow from (e.g. from bottom-up, top- down, top-left, top-right, etc.)

Hooray for me :)
