Time progression is not tracked with TalentLMS


I created some scorm 1.2 content that I uploaded in TalentLMS as the single element of a course I created.

When a user logs in TalentLMS and takes the course, no time progression is tracked: it is always zero even when the user spent one hour and completed the course.

I contacted TalentLMS and they told me that with a single SCORM 1.2 content, there was not much they could do and that I have to ask the authoring tool support what must be changed in the course to allow time progression to be tracked.

I find that quite surprising, but I do as I am asked...

Hi Yves,

I am not too familiar with Talent LMS, but it's a good idea to double-check the published output in SCORM Cloud. SCORM Cloud is a handy and free tool great for LMS testing. If you are seeing the same issue happening in that environment, we will want to investigate the course further.

No problem with SCORM Cloud, the time progression is correctly tracked.

I guess the issue is with Talent LMS, despite what they said. I must admit that I am quite upset by TalentLMS and what they offer, and the level of the support...

But it is my customer's LMS, so I have to deal with it.
