I have been exploring with recording the time a learner spends in our course, and currently have my storyline project recording the exact time (in milliseconds) that the user entered the session and the time that they completed the session. However, my concern is that this will not give us an accurate time, and ideally we would need a timer within the session that starts on entry, pauses on exit, and stops on completion. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I might be able to do this?
Typically the time in the course is handled by the LMS, so you may want to check into the items available to you there. Also, here are some ideas in regards to custom timers.
