Timeline does not start Automatically in Preview

Sep 24, 2013

Hi,

I have been working on a course using Articulate Storyline for a few weeks now. Up until a few days ago when I previewed it, the timeline started automatically as the user clicked next. Now in preview I have to click play for the slide timeline to start.

For instance, I have a slide where my two characters ask a question and give an answer. The question caption is on the timeline for 5 seconds, then it should disappear and then answer caption comes on the screen from 5 second until 10 seconds. When I go to preview the slide does not start on its own. I have to click play for any animation or timed text to work.

How do I get the information to start automatically when the user advances to the slide? I didn't give this issue last week. Is there a setting that I might have accidentally changed or need to play with?

Thanks!

Lisa

Hi Lisa and welcome to Heroes!

Have you possibly changed the trigger order on these particular slides? The triggers will go in order from top to bottom.
