Timeline extending past 22K seconds

Jan 09, 2020

Hi - I have a situation where the timeline on a slide automatically extended beyond 22,000 seconds, for no reason.  I did not add an object that would cause this to happen.  I know I can drag the end marker for 22,ooo seconds to the left, but: 1) is there a better way to do this, and 2) what would cause this to happen?  It has happened twice in the same slide.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Hi Lisa,

That certainly is a long timeline. Thanks for letting us know what you are seeing.

  1. To quickly adjust: Begin dragging the end of the timeline, then press the left arrow key on your keyboard. It'll automatically snap to the last/longest object in the timeline.
  2. This is a tough question. I'm not sure what could be causing the issue. You have a couple of options:
    • Since it's specific to one slide, you could recreate it to avoid any further issues.
    • With your permission, you can share your project file with our support engineers to investigate what's happening. You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.
