Right now, there isn't a built-in way to disable the '1' that gets automatically added at the end of an object's title in Storyline 360. Check out our pointers on working with the timeline here!

If you add shapes, captions, pictures, etc to your file the "1" is added automatically to the first object. For instance, if I needed a couple of rectangles, it would be Rectangle 1 and Rectangle 2, etc.
It sounds like you may be running into something different. What type of object are you adding to the slide? Are you manually naming the objects?

Can you tell me why the “1” appears?
And what I can do to minimize the chance of it?
It makes it confusing to have the same object on different pages - but
different names.
