I am new to Articulate and I am trying to find a way to not use a timed feed. I would like to include arrows like in preview for the user to click when they are ready to move onto a slide without it automatically jumping to the next after so many seconds. Does anyone know if there is a way to accomplish this task?

Make sure that in the slide properties the advance by user option is selected, as described here.
