It would have to be a numeric entry field, you also need some way of timing the slide, you could use a reciprocating layer set to one second long that adds time to your variable.
With a trigger to jump when timer variable changes if equal entered value
Thanks Phil, that makes sense.. sounds a weeeeee bit tricky but I'll give it a go! Thank you :)
(to explain: basically I'm recreating a simulated UI where the learner types in the number of seconds they want a process to run for in the 'settings'.. and then for the sake of the simulation they will be asked to enter a time less than 30 seconds in the settings layer.
I have a layer where the process runs (fake haha) with a timer that counts up to 30 seconds which would jump away at different times depending on the number set)

Yes with a bit of work.

Have a look at this https://360.articulate.com/review/content/38873217-adc5-4eb9-8f40-631d995adf90/review
I used buttons instead of typing so the user had to enter integers.
Very cool!
Katie, sorry I posted earlier. Had misread your question, and I was way off base.
Thanks Phil, this is really helpful
oh no worries David, appreciate you helping anyway x
Glad that helped, I had some fun building that and couldn't stop playing, I think I had 4-5 iterations
