1) Is there a way to adjust timeline length other than scroll-and-drag?
2) Anyone know why my slide's timeline will NOT scroll past 35 seconds?
My slide is early stages. Audio not inserted yet. I have a variable that doesn't let you click next until the timeline ends. At early stages, I want to set a very short timeline. It's a true courtesy to my reviewers.
I've closed the project and opened it again. (Didn't completely exit Storyline, though.)
I don't think a picture will illsutrate that the (annoying) drag-and-scroll method to shorten a slide's timeline stops and does not scroll past 35 seconds. I can roll the cursor off and then back onto that line you select to roll an entire timeline, but, my timeline will not shorten beyond 35 seconds on this one particular slide.
It is the quivalent of clicking on a button and nothing happens.
If those articles don't help, are you running Storyline with the latest update? To find this information, click on "Help" and "About Articulate Storyline". If you're not running version 2 (1212.1412), please download and install Update 2 from the link below:
If you're already running Update 2, or the update doesn't fix this issue for you, are you able to share your .STORY file here so I can take a look? You're also welcome to send the file privately, if you prefer.
And, as a result, I haven't taken the time to select each individual item, scroll is down to 10 seconds and then see if the timeline scrolls. It is at this point that dragging on the timeline becomes *really* tedious.

Hi.
1> Not that I know of, (this is a real issue sometimes, I would like a "Set timeline to xx seconds" options...
2> Not sure exactly what you mean here...Are you able to post an image to show what is/(is not working)?
Thanks
Bruce

Hi there Kelly,
1) No, unfortunately, to adjust the timeline you will need to click, drag and pull it to adjust it.
2) This isn't expected behavior. Is there any content on the slide? You mentioned a trigger, but is there any content on the slide yet?
First, see if these articles help:

There's a ton of content on the slide.
