Why hello there Articulate person. I hope you're doing great today.
We are having some trouble here at Cogentys. We published a Storyline Course using Tin Can publishing settings. Playing course on iPad through Rustci cloud, the course defaulted to the Articulate Mobile Player. Our problem is that there are no LMS results being recorded.
We have been told that Tin Can is supposed to record off line activities but we can't make this work.
The AMP does not record offline results, although the Tin Can spec allows offline reporting at the moment Storyline does not support offline reporting.
Storyline does have an option to let learners download content to their iPads for offline viewing in the Articulate Mobile Player app. However, the Available Offline switch is unavailable for Tin Can API content as Phil mentioned. The Articulate Mobile Player requires an Internet connection to track Tin Can API content and report it to an LMS. For more information about viewing the course on your iPad, I'd recommend this tutorial on publishing for the iPad and/or HTML5.
