Apparently, Tin Can has more reporting capabilities, and has the "ability to record any relevant activity, any mouse click, answer, etc. (SCORM can only track quizzes and completion statuses by contrast)".
Is there a setting in Storyline 2.0 where I can set the Tin Can output to feed this extra information (ie, relevant activity, mouse click, answer, etc) to the LMS?
No, those don't really help because I am not a programmer. I just want to know if Storyline 2.0 has a button/option to click somewhere that says, "send mouse click activity on Publish" or some such.
So, what I'm gathering, is that to utilise the extra neat-o features of Tin-Can like sending every mouse click information (or just anything beyond quiz results) from Storyline 2.0, you have to do some programming.

Yes

No programming!

Is that a fair assumption?
OK, maybe in the future.
Is there somewhere I can find out what exactly this "extra functionality" with statements allows you to do?
Thank you, Matthew!!
Glad Matthew was able to provide you with some helpful insight here, Victoria. Let us know if you have further questions. :)
Sure, I have a further question: Is there somewhere I can find out what exactly Tin Can's "extra functionality" with statements allows you to do?
Wow! That's great! Thank you so much, Matthew!!
Thanks Matthew. I'm not really interested in programming, unless my company really needs it and will supply me with the resources (time) to study it.
I am also studying full-time so don't have the bandwidth for personal time study, either.
I will investigate your links though, and I do appreciate your help!
Hi Victoria,
It looks like this article talks exactly about what you are looking for. i.e. Sending other kinds of statements to the LRS from events in Articulate.
