Sorry - not sure what you mean here, as you have independent Timeline per Layer, (and therefore a way to get it perfect on each Layer). Could you possibly explain the problem further?
The Project size is over 3GB so I'll need to carve the relevant pieces out.
Deadline tomorrow so a few days out for the bits
It is stable but It seems to continue however. Same project, no changes. Usually it works and sometimes it does not. It seems all I ineedc to do is open the controll slide, do nothing, rebuild and all is good. It feels like an internal variable issue.
FWIW, attached Is some of my navigation and tracking logic that I moved into an Excel sheet so I could track thinkgs.
I am about to give up for the day with a septic finger, so cannot type and zoning and out a bit....though red wine dos seem to be counteracting the poison that is starting to low nicely around my system..
Hi Todd I'm not at my computer so can't look at your file but have you factored in the timing for the animations on the objects when you set your cue points?

Thanks Bruce...sure.
Scenario:
Base layer contains video_1
Layer_1 contains image_1 with a very slow grow animation of the image
Layer 1 also has a circle_1 shape that marks a place on image_1 (It comes in with a fade in animation)
Layer_1 is triggered 10 seconds into video_1 using an element timeline start trigger
Circle_1 needs to come in at a very specific time on the video.
It seems that when I do a timing run on the video so I can set cue points on layer_1, The timing is always off.
I'm sure it is someting I'm thinking about wrong.
Thanks for the help.
Todd.
Thanks Todd.
Are you able to post the .story file here so that I/others can take a look?
Bruce

A bit to digest but it is what it is.
Next time I'll design things a littledifferently.
Thanks

Todd,
I am about to give up for the day with a septic finger, so cannot type and zoning and out a bit....though red wine dos seem to be counteracting the poison that is starting to low nicely around my system..
Hope others able to help you out here.
Bruce
Thanks...hope all is well

I've not done any calculations but I suspect that is where the timing is off.
I'll give that a try.
Thanks
