As far as I know, there isn't an option to automatically display Q# of #. After all, quiz questions could be sprinkled throughout a course and/or bunched at the end. THey might even include some branching based on how well the learner is doing.
In other words, you have to add your own text/title field, and enter the # of #yourself. And unless you've got a HUGE quiz, it's probably easier to simply type the numbers than to program them with variables.

Yeah, I think the problem is the quiz pulls 20 questions from a pool of 40 so labelling the slides isn't going to work
