Toggle Buttons
Nov 01, 2018
I'm not sure if you'd call these toggle buttons, but I have two buttons on a screen that should always be the opposite of one another. They can never both be in the same state: Run or Prep. I'm attaching a slide I've been working on few a couple of days now. I know it's likely a simple solution, but I just can't get to the root of it. I have tried variables, states, even hotspots to make it work. I feel like I'm to the point that I'm overthinking it, but hate that I have to keep coming back here asking for help with things. Any suggestions?
A RUN, B PREP
A PREP, B RUN
Those are the only two options. It cannot be A RUN, B RUN or A PREP, B PREP at the same time. If one is run, the other has to be prep, and vice versa.

Hello James,
The trick here is to give your two buttons the same button set.
Right click on your buttons and choose the Button Set. I also gave the A button a default state of selected.
Thanks so much, Russell! I didn't even know anything about Button Sets. I expected the solution was simple, but had no idea. Thank you!
