Top Interactions

Hi Lynn,

Those were originally a part of Storyline 1, and not included in Storyline 2 as a default. If you previously had Storyline 1 installed you would see them include. 

Here’s what you can do to migrate Storyline 1 templates to your Storyline 2 software –

1.         Download the zipped Storyline templates here.

2.         Extract to your local folder.

3.         Double-click the .storytemplate file. When asked to upgrade, click Upgrade.

4.         Wait for the upgrade to finish. The Top Interaction template drop down should now show in Storyline when you create a new slide.

I have not had Storyline  installed previously and only have Storyline 2. Does this mean I cannot  use the top interactions template in Storyline 2. I can download the template but they do not seem to open in Storyline 2. Ionly have the modern interactions template currently, thanks aoife

You downloaded via the link that David shared above and are having difficulty? What do you see when you try to open them?

Be sure that you are extracting the zip file and opening the file via SL2 as shown below:

Although the zipped file is in my local folder it is not coming up as an option to select in Storyline 2 when I try to import as a template...thanks aoife??????????

Did you extract the zip file first? If you extracted and are importing as my image shows above, you may want to reach out to our support team here for further assistance.

Yes I have the zipped file..I never had Storyline 1 so does this impact the ability to import the top interactions due to version compatibility? thanks aoife

Hello Aoife - No. That should have no impact on your ability to utilize the download via the link that David shared above.
