This is the first time that I have imported an Articulate Storyline Story file into my Articulate Storyline 2 software ( a trial version). I deleted few slides after the import which were not required. But when I'm running the preview of entire project, the total number of slides shown at the bottom right corner is still the same, although the number of slides previewed have been reduced. Can anyone please help me on this.
So you've imported from Storyline 1 into Storyline 2 and then removed slides, but are still seeing the odd numbering? Did you do a save as and try closing out of the project and reopening it? Storyline does save those elements while you're still in the project in the event that you choose to "undo" the action and return those slides - so that may account for the odd count you're seeing.
Did you also check for slides in a scene that you're not using or similar to ensure that there are not extra's anywhere? You'll also want to confirm that you're working on files following the guidelines here, as they are known causes of corruption or issues within files.
If you're still seeing odd behavior after checking into those, are you able to share a copy of the .story file with us here?
No problem Hasan and just an FYI that responding via email includes your signature here. So you are welcome to edit the post and remove that information if you'd like. Totally up to you! :)
