Tracking answers
Jun 12, 2014
Hi everyone,
In one of my slides, we show learners three characters and we would like them to click in one. It's not a quiz per se, they just need to click on the one that best matches their view after the lesson was completed. However, we would still like to track the answers, even though they are not important for scoring. Is there anyway we can track the clicks they gave? Maybe should I built it like a survey?
Thank you very much for the help!

Hi Camyla,
Have you looked at using the pick many question type? There is a tutorial here on how to set this up, and remove the scoring/correct/incorrect information as well.
Camyla,
I do this all the time and assign variables (be sure to name them) so I can track choices from slide to slide.
Then you can display choices at the end if you want.
Hi Ashley and Rick,
Thank you for the answers.
Rick, can you give a bit more details of how I can do this? I'm completely new to Storyline and though I know how to create a variable, I don't know how to attribute the proper specifications.
Thank you!
