Can someone confirm for me if I set the Track by Minimum Slides Viewed in storyline to be 20 of 25. The lesson will be marked as complete if the user views any of the 20 screens rather than viewing specifically slides 1-20?
So the question, if the user views slides 1-5, then 10-25 will they complete? Or will they only complete if they view slides 1-20?
Hi Kim! Number of slides viewed, no order required.
Track using number of slides viewed: With this option, your LMS will determine whether a learner has passed or completed your course by monitoring the number of slides the learner has viewed. Use the selector to choose a number.
Following up on this if we select must view 9 slides of 10 total - does or will the course distinguish between different slide - vs 9 of the same slide 1 over and over, and how much of a slide must be viewed before it is considered viewed? Will landing on it be considered viewed, or must it play to the end of the timeline? Thanks

You can read more about that here.

A slide is considered viewed as soon as you land on it. In all storyline versions you can track any 9 slides out of 10
In 360 you can track using the menu so could choose specific slides
