Is there a feature for SL3 that we can add printed dates when they come to an end slide? For web versions, we use for our contractors and once they go through the presentation and take the quiz, they print out their results, or signature page.
Seeking advice how to add a feature for tracking purposes.
It's not a feature of Storyline 3, but it's likely something you could accomplish using Javascript. Take a look at the best practices and examples here - hope that helps you get started!
These will get you on the way to create a PDF-certificate for the end of the course. I know that without an LMS, you can't use the LMS usernames, but the method shown in this thread will give you an idea how to use Storyline Variables for the PDF, I think.
You will need a little JavaScript to get there, but most of what you need is in the two threads. The only thing that is not explained there is how to get a current date. You can find information on this here: w3schools: JavaScript Date Reference. This is already used in the example in the PDF-certificate thread, but if you want to customize it, reading this documentation might be helpful.

Hi Lily,
while I do not have a complete solution ready, there are two forum threads that might help you get where you want:

We have LMS so I used the 2nd link. However when I published, I was unable to get anything. Do you have to test in LMS?
Could you let me know what I'm missing?
