Tracking course completion without SCORM etc

Jul 16, 2014

Hi,

After a student enrolls into a course, we send them a small course to make them comfortable with the concept of online learning before giving them a login to our LMS. We however want to track who completes this though. Towards the end of course, I get all the students to fill in a text box with their names and email addresses. Is there anyway that I can

a) populate this information in a pre-existing file in say google drive? (maybe using JS? I'm however not very proficient with JS)

b) send this information in an email (I don't mind coding the username and password information into JS and setting to and from address with the same address.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Padma,

What about setting up a Google Form as a web object on the last slide? This would allow you to have the user input the information and populate a file for you in Google drive where you could see who has completed it. If you'd prefer to do something with Javascript, I'll have to defer to the community as I'm not equipped to support that.
