Tracking decision tree paths

Nov 14, 2016

Is there any way to track the responses of a group to see which paths of a decision tree were selected the most? Thanks

Hello Alyssa,

I have an e-learning course which I used a decision tree. The user makes his or her choices by clicking the hotspots. At the end of the course, there is a quiz-like slide which sends the completed/incompleted information to the LMS. There is no problem until here :)

I wonder that, is there a way to learn which choices are made by the user during the course? If I use quiz-like slides for every choice, there will be multiple result slides and I have to pick one of them to "final result slide".

Is it possible to solve this problem?

Hi Deniz,

Thanks for reaching out! We currently have an active feature request for the ability to track a results slide based on a branching quiz.

While I don't have a timeline to share with you on this request, I do want to share this discussion that may help point you in the right direction. Take a look and see if this helps your scenario for deciding how to report branching quiz questions!

Take a look at downloading and installing Storyline 360 Build 3.44.23192.0. Details here.
