One of the courses that we are currently developing needs detailed tracking for individual slides. The data that needs to be tracked for individual slides:
The time and date when the user visited the slide
Time spent on the slide
Whether the user has clicked certain button on the slide
Which check boxes user has selected in an interactivity on a slide
Need to know whether this is possible and how. Please suggest.
Julie is correct that Storyline won't gather all that information, it's typically up to the LMS to gather time and date information. You can review the information that Storyline will send to your LMS here.
When we publish a course package from Storyline for LMS, it is basically creating a single SCO for the entire course package. Hence LMS is unable to get individual slide data. However we are trying a work around by passing data from individual slides via javascript. Also we are trying to make a multi-sco package to suit to the data tracking requirements.
Please let me know any suggestions in this regard.
Although we don't support multi-sco, there are some methods you could use within this article. In regards to the Javascript, you'll want to begin by reviewing the best practices here and then hopefully someone in the community can assist if you need additional assistance.

I don't think you can do this in Storyline. You can in a Moodle. Cheers, Julie
