Tracking - Multiple Quizzes

Jul 23, 2018

Hi there,

I have a module that features different quizzes(3). Different users will be taking a different quiz. Is there a way to track 3 quizzes at once with out having to publish 3 different times?

Hey Kyle!

Currently, Storyline lets you track a course either by the number of slides viewed, by course completion trigger, or by a single quiz (result slide). However, it sounds like you have a need to track multiple quizzes at once.

Do you need to know what the learner's quiz score is? If you simply wish to mark the course as complete if the learner passes one of the three quizzes, you should check out the course completion trigger feature.

If you do need to track the actual quiz scores, I'll leave it to the community to help you set up that custom quiz. This similar discussion is a good place to start!

Good day,

The learner would need to obtain a score of 75% or higher to be considered passed. I'm not sure the "Complete course" trigger would work in this case.

I will read further though.

Thank you!

Hi Alyssa,

I am trying to do the same thing as Kyle. Is it still the case that Storyline lets you track a course either by the number of slides viewed, by course completion trigger, or by a single quiz (result slide)?

I've created a branched module that contains one quiz per scene (each quiz is in a different language). Learners must obtain a score of 80% or higher on one of the quizzes to effectively pass the module. Is this feasible?

Best,

Janelle

Hi Janelle,

Yes, Storyline still tracks courses by the number of slides viewed, by course completion trigger, or by a single quiz (result slide). I'll be sure to include your voice for a request to track branching quiz results!

In the meantime, this discussion might be useful for your scenario. Also, take a look at some of the discussions Alyssa mentioned above! Hope this helps!
