Tracking pages visited and progress over multiple pages

Feb 24, 2014

I have a project that has many tutorial videos based around six subjects. I have six separate menus with large icons that link to a another slide that plays the appropriate video. What I want is to have an evaluation page that comes after the tutorial video where the user can input how well they understood the content, something like three options, good bad or normal that is then tracked on it's corresponding menu slide. So after watching the video and choosing that you understood it completely there would be a green check on it's icon and maybe tracked on a separate overall evaluation tracking slide as well that would be just a list of the video titles and what you chose in the evaluation, or if you haven't watched it yet.

Currently I am only look to track progress over different slides rather than scenes.

Is this, or some of it possible?

Hi Patrick and welcome to Heroes!

Since you'll be tracking this over multiple slides, you'll want to set up something with variables.

Variable data can be used to track visited slides and update button states for those visited slides.

Here's a tutorial on how that type of navigation works. There's also a project file you can use to look under the hood. Can you take a look at both and let us know what questions you have?
