I am rather new to Storyline. I am wondering if there are descriptions/explnations for each of the "report status to LMS" options appearing in the drop down within the Reporting Tab: a) passed/incomplete; b) passed/failed; c) completed/incomplete; d) completed/failed
Those are different settings to help accommodate various LMS systems that have different requirements and use different language. You can see here that some will also pass a completion and success rate.
As far as the different terminology, it's different adjectives to say whether or not the user completed the course in a Yes/No fashion. Sometimes an LMS wants the user to not be "failed" but "incomplete" - so you'll want to check with your LMS about which terminology they use and what option you need to select prior to publishing.
