I am trying to find a program that will convert the audio within a video to text. I have read some programs but they don't seem to work. The one that did was Soundbooth, however it was bought by Adobe and they don't utilize that option anymore. can anyone suggest a free program that I can use?

You can use Google's Web Speech API
It needs a little setup. You can search YouTube for instructions.
