I'm currently putting together an course and one of the (many) requests i've had is that the user can see if they have viewed a page or not by changing the slide name on the menu at the top of the screen.
Okay, I can do this but I'm trying to do it using the slide master instead of inserting the menu (and the code) onto every slide.
However it doesn't seem to be working, so my question is...
I'm not sure I'm understanding your set up and what you're looking to do. If you're using the Storyline menu, after a user has viewed a page it does become "greyed" out in the menu. You can read more about working with the Storyline menu here, and if you're looking for a more customized set up you may want to share some specifics here so that the community can weigh in and offer ideas.
I am trying to do the same as what you described here. Did you find a solution? I have a timeline that I want, as they move through the slides, to gray out a portion. They highlight as I am on that slide, and the variable changes, but it doesn't stay the changed color.
Thank you so much! Do you remember if you had to put everything on one slide and utilize layers? As I continued to search, I seem to read that there isn't functionality for what I am trying to do. And I would have to reset on every slide. Your solution is a work around?
