If a slide has a number of layers, and i want to change the transition effect of them (e.g. Fade in), when i move between the layers selecting in the pane, the transition effect of the current layer doesn't update.
In order to see the effect applied to a particular layer i need to first select the base layer and then re-select the layer in question.
