Translation
Feb 05, 2015
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone with clients needing lessons in a number of languages has a clever process for picking up the text ready to send to translators, where it can be pulled back (manually I'm guessing) into new, other language versions?
I'm accepting a lot of this will be manual, but I'm daunted by all of the text boxes, layers and pop ups at the moment!
Thanks hopefully
Adam

Wow - that's too easy! Thanks, I'd missed that feature.
Storyline really is excellent!
Thanks Matthew.
Glad that Matthew was able to assist you here Adam :)
Adam, here are a few important notes about the translation process.
Great tips Judy! Thank you :)
That's great advice - I suspect you have just saved many hours of mucking around. In fact this thread has saved me a whole bunch of it!
Many thanks!
Just paying it forward for all the help I've gotten on this site. :-)
BTW, I thought of one more tip: Keep track of any changes you make to the player's Text Labels (e.g., if you change "Next" to "Keep Going"). Those items are NOT exported for translation, so you'll have to do that work manually.
