Translation in Storyline360
May 05, 2017
Gruess Gott (as they say in deepest Germany)!
I am looking at translating a course into German - to test the translation process. I created a single screen - a quiz - with correct and incorrect layers for feedback. I exported the script using File/Translate, made changes to the 'Translate this column', saved the file and reimported the translation file - all as per instructions. However, although some basic text has translated successfully, others have lost some or all of their text. I even had one of the possible answers wiped (it was a percentage, not even text!).
Has anyone had any experience of doing this? Has it been successful or have you had problems?
Mach's gut!

Hi Martin
I work for a Localization/Translation company and we have experience translating Storyline files in more than 30 languages.
Here is our blog about the services that we offer for ELearning projects: (http://www.elearning-localization.com/)
I will be happy to give you a hand here.
Wish you a great day,

I've attached a before and after - it's all very strange - sometimes the translation appears perfectly, sometimes it disappears as in this case.
Thank you, David.
