I'm trying to send a course to an XLFF file to send to translators, and it's crashing every time. Is this a known problem? I need to get this to work, so any suggestions/solutions are welcome!!

Is this happening with any Storyline file or a specific one?
What happens if you try to Export to Word?

Katie, I can export files to Word but to XLFF fails with every file....even a brand new one I just tried with one screen. Shall reinstall/repair SL360?
So I uninstalled and then re-installed Articulate 360 and SL 360....same thing. It errors out with a box asking me to send a report to support. Then I have to close down the program from the task manager.

Looking at this thread it may be as simple as associating an .XLF file to open in a program such as Notepad. Storyline wants to 'show you the file' when it's finished by opening the file upon completion.
To associate a file in Windows 10, double-click the .xlf file, choose More, and then select Notepad or the application of your choice that can read a text file.
FYI - Others have reported a similar problem in this thread and hopefully this will help!
