I am trying to install the trial version on a computer where it has not been run before. It is an old computer: running a Pentium 4 CPU at 2.20GHz and 2.00GB of RAM under XP SP3. I guess .net is installed as the installer did not request it.
The software seems to install correctly, but when I try to run it nothing happens.
Yes I have checked the system requirements etc. Also, absolutely nothing happens. The cursor turns to the hourglass cursor for 2-3 seconds - and that's it. Nothing appears in the task manager also.
It's as though the program simply does not load at all.
Maybe the laptop is just too old... old CPU especially but I cannot see how that would affect it...

Sounds like you probably looked at this system requirements support page, but providing link just in case
Do you have enough free disk space? Specs are 250 MB. Also, is Adobe Flash 10 or later installed?
And, you say "nothing happens" when you try to run it. Literally nothing? No error message or prompt?
So, just a coupla' things to chew on before the staff arrive.
