Trigger and variable issues in Articulate Storyline 1
Feb 20, 2015
I am currently creating a course where I made a modified slider that will pull up information as the user drags the object. As there isn't a whole lot of screen real estate, I had to add a slide layer to house additional information with a trigger that opens said layer when the timeline starts, and hides the layer when the variable is equal to true. However, when I preview the entire thing, the slide goes through the fade layer and then jumps to the next slide. The slide is set to advance when the user clicks the next button, so I am unsure of what is happening. What can I do to ensure that the slide won't advance before it is supposed to?

Maybe there is a trigger on your layer that jumps to the next slide when timeline ends? Can you share your .story file here so that we can have a look?
This is in rough form and not really pretty, and I had to delete some slides with pertinent information - so please bear with me!
Your slide is set to advance automatically. Change this property to "By User'.
Oh, duh. I feel really dumb. Thank you so much, that was driving me crazy!
Glad that Michael was able to assist you here Nicole :)
