Quick question, can you use the trigger conditions option when setting a trigger to block a slide or scene until they have completed that slide? And if so how do I do this?
Yes you can, but i can't be very specific in my answer unless you give us some more info. The way you go about this depends on some factors such as whether you use any player elements in your story (such as the stock Articulate menu or next/previous buttons).
In general you can modify your next button trigger to only move to the next slide/scene IF user presses next ON CONDITION 'x'.
Condition 'x' may be a variable that changes to True once timeline ends on a specific slide, or it could be a state change (or anything that can be used as a Boolean check).
This may or may not be enough to cover all angles though (again it depends on your scenario).
I agree with Alexandros that more info would be helpful, but in the meantime I thought I'd point you to 3 support pages that discuss restricting navigation.
