Trigger for Previous button in Player

Hi All,
I was wondering that my navigation in course is not linear when clicking on previous button.
If I randomly visit the course and click on the previous button it jumps to the previously visited
slide, while in Studio'09 it was simply linear and independent of visiting the course.
Again I tried to explore triggers to fix this but when I add a trigger I can only see the option for next button
but not for the previous button.
Can anyone help me out for this?
Thanks in advance!

Mayank,
In the current version of Storyline the Previous button is "historical" - not pure linear.
I believe that requests have been made to change this, so it may be on the Articulate "radar" in the future.

Quick heads up: Articulate Storyline Update 1 supports triggering the Previous button. For more information on this update, see the link below:

Hello. I came across this old post, but I believe it is relevant to me. I am forced to use the classic player for accessibility purposes. I understand that the previous button on this player is not set up to navigate backwards in a linear manner, even though each slide trigger says to "jump to the previous slide." Is there any way to fix this without directly triggering each slide to the exact slide it needs to go?
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you would like to create within your project.
Currently, the previous button works like a browser 'back' button. It will navigate to the last slide viewed.
We are tracking a request to allow users to set the logic for this button and I've added this conversation to the report.
In the meantime, you can manually edit the triggers to perform in a linear/numeric fashion.
